About This Activity
Description
The summer youth track and field program is open to youth ages 8 to 10 years of age and will run for eight weeks from June 2nd to July 30th. Youth track and field will meet at the Vermillion High School Track from 9-10:30am, Monday and Wednesday of each week throughout the duration of the camp. Participants will learn proper running techniques from sprinting to long distance running, proper stretching techniques for pre and post running, and proper jumping techniques to help preform in the long jump, triple jump and running mechanics. Participants will then enjoy multiple mini track and field meets that will be held during the duration of the program.
REMINDER : There will NOT be class the entire week of the 4th of July (June 30th - July 4th).
