About This Activity
Are you passionate about the outdoors and looking to take your leadership skills to the next level? Join us each month to develop the natural outdoor leaders in your through leadership and outdoor skills workshops. Practice your knot-tying skills and learn the art of lashing at the Vernon Hills Gathering Place. We’ll work on different lashing techniques and build a variety of useful structures. Learn how to teach others to tie essential camping knots to prepare for any outdoor adventure. This a leadership development opportunity. This program is designed for individual Girl Scouts; prior PA or CIT experience is not required. Attendance is not required at every monthly meeting in order to participate in this event. This is a day event and does not include an overnight. This program is designed for individuals WITHOUT an adult chaperone. This IS a drop off event. A snack is provided as part of this event.
