About This Activity
Are you passionate about the outdoors and looking to take your leadership skills to the next level? Join us each month to develop the natural outdoor leaders in your through leadership and outdoor skills workshops. Join us at the Vernon Hills Gathering Place for an exploration of nature-based skills in celebration of the Autumn Equinox. Learn how to identify local trees in all seasons. Build your repertoire of fall and winter themed activities to teach younger Girl Scouts. We will work on creativity and problem solving as we learn to adapt outdoor activities for the changes of the seasons. This a leadership development opportunity. This program is designed for individual Girl Scouts; prior PA or CIT experience is not required. Attendance is not required at every monthly meeting in order to participate in this event. This is a day event and does not include an overnight. This program is designed for individuals without an adult chaperone. This is a drop off event. A snack is provided as part of this event.
