Discover the art of the pastelillos, also known as empanadas, a beloved filled pastry with roots tracing back to ancient Egypt (circa 6,000 BC). In this immersive culinary workshop participants will master essential techniques including preparing fillings, shaping dough, crimping, and frying to golden perfection. Chef Roberto blends history, culture, and hands-on-practice, transforming this ancient food tradition into a modern cooking experience that builds confidence, teamwork, and culinary skill.
