About This Activity
Who: participants with autism who are between 11 and 14 years old What: Co-ed Basketball Our coaches and staff will use their expertise, modeling, and visuals to teach skills and understanding of the game. We hope to increase our athlete’s physical endurance, coordination, attention, and social interaction through team play. Where: FACT Autism Resource Center 3509 Virginia Beach Blvd Virginia Beach, VA 23452 3rd Session Middle Ballers- 11:35-12:35pm (Ages 11 - 14) Why: Our goal is for every child to walk out of the gym with a smile on their face, but we also hope to increase our athlete’s physical endurance, coordination, attention, and social interaction through team play.
