About This Activity
What: GonnawannaKICKagin'- Kickball GonnawannaKICKagin' is a co-ed Kickball program dedicated to teach skills and understanding of the game. Our coaches and staff will use their expertise, modeling, and visuals to help our players adapt and play the community sport we all love! We hope to increase our athlete’s physical endurance and coordination, attention, and social interaction through team play. Who: participants w/ ASD who are between 6-10 years old Prior experience is not necessary- all ability levels are welcome, however FACT sports programs are recommended for students with receptive language skills enough to follow simple single step directions and attempt to imitate actions. Kickball is staffed on a 1:4/5 ratio (1 staff per 4 or 5 participants). Parents are required to stay for the duration of the program incase of injury, toileting needs, and to cheer on/encourage the team. Where: Williams Farm Park 5269 Learning Circle Virginia Beach, VA 23462 When: September 6- November 1, 2025 (no kickball on September 27). Cost: There is a one-time registration fee of $80 Discounts available for qualifying families- Payment plans are available. Why: Our goal is for every child to walk off the field with a smile on their face, but we also hope to increase our athlete’s physical endurance, coordination, attention, and social interaction through team play.
