About This Activity
Who: anyone 11-14 years old who has autism-any ability level (does not need prior soccer knowledge). All ability levels are welcome, however FACT sports programs are recommended for students with fair receptive language skills who can follow simple directions and/or imitate actions. What: Co-ed Soccer FACT provides skilled soccer coaches and staff who dedicate their time to providing their expertise, modeling, and visuals to teach skills and understanding of the game. Where: FACT Autism Resource Center 3509 Virginia Beach Blvd Virginia Beach, VA 23452 When: Saturday's March 8 - May 3, 2025 Why: Our goal is for every child to walk off the field with a smile on their face, but we also hope to increase our athlete’s physical endurance, coordination, attention, and social interaction through team play. PLEASE NOTE: Parents/caregivers will be required to stay on premises, this is not a “drop-off” activity.
