This competition-based basketball league is geared towards adults with intellectual disabilities. Games will be played 3 on 3 on half court.A commitment of 2 days per week is needed. Players will participate in 1 weekly team practice per week (Weekday Night) (One hour)1 game per week (Friday Nights) (30 min games)
Practices begin the week of April 8. 6 weeks of games beginning April 19, followed by one week of playoffs, for a total commitment of 8 weeks. Practice day will be decided once season starts by team/coach.
Team jerseys will be provided. Awards will be provided to winning team.
Experience is not necessary.

Essential Eligibility: Program Level 1
No assistance needed to maneuver rugged terrain and extended distances. Can maintain their own personal hygiene and without assistance. Can follow multiple-step instructions. Able to convey feelings, desires, and emotions without assistance. Demonstrates age-appropriate social and emotional skills in managing personal boundaries, relationships, communication, stress, and conflict. Will stay with group without assistance. Can independently manage the sensory stimulation of a frequently large, loud, and energetic group environment.
