Description
These classes incorporates traditional yoga poses (asanas) sequenced to a themed playlist, that touches all genres of pop music. Creative adaptions and transitions match the music and the theme. POP YOGA is respectful of the ancient traditions and wisdoms of yoga, but adds a fun contemporary element for people of all ages. This all level class aims to increase awareness of yoga and offer an accessible, inclusive option for individuals to try yoga for the first time. What to Bring: comfortable clothes, and a bottle of water. We encourage participants to bring a yoga mat if possible, however all supplies are available onsite. Our highly qualified/certified instructor is excited to meet everyone and will ensure an educational, safe, and FUN experience! This FCPR Fitness class will be held at Walkersville Recreation Center. Walkersville Recreation Center is located at 83 W. Frederick Street, Walkersville, MD, 21793 (inside of Walkersville Elementary School). Parking & Entrance is to the right side of the school, look for our FCPR signs. Staff onsite will direct you to our activity room.
