About This Activity
This master class with Otis Sallid is inspired by the work of Viola Spolin and her Theater Games methodology. It utilizes experiential exercises designed to help students solve problems in real time, think creatively, communicate effectively, and remain fully present in the moment. These techniques enable young artists to develop a stronger stage presence, boost their confidence in decision-making, and enhance their ability to navigate challenges both inside and outside the studio. Through improvisation and guided problem-solving, students learn to trust their instincts, embrace discovery, and engage more deeply with their artistic voice.
