About This Activity
Description
Designed for absolute beginners, this class is a great way for kids to try out the guitar in a friendly, supportive group setting! We’ll learn the building blocks of music and note reading along with basic right and left-hand techniques. By the end of the session, we’ll be able to play several beautiful melodies. Don’t forget to continue learning in September in our Guitar Group Class or in private lessons with an amazing Levine teacher.
Going on vacation? Not a problem. Pick any 4 classes to attend (or come to all 8)!
Please note: Students will be provided with an instrument for the duration of the class, or if they wish, can use their own guitar (nylon string preferred). Participants do not need previous musical experience or knowledge.
