This hands-on course introduces students to the world of DIY crafts while weaving in important STEM concepts. Each project combines creativity with science, technology, engineering, or math, showing how these subjects connect to everyday life. Students will experiment with a wide range of crafts such as candle making, light painting, resin art, jewelry, keychains, and abstract paper block sculptures. Along the way, they’ll practice measuring and mixing, explore chemical reactions, and apply engineering design principles- all while creating unique works of art. From understanding how math and science create the perfect candle to experimenting with the technology behind light painting, every activity encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and creative expression.
