About This Activity
Build amazing bridges and discover important engineering principles while destroying them! These sessions allow students to explore building materials and techniques while constructing a variety of bridge types (trestle, suspension, and more) of their own design. Finished bridges are tested to measure the weights they support and the ways they fail, and by analyzing those results, students refine their understanding of common methods for building strong structures. $50 deducted from allotment.
