About This Activity
From flames to powerful scents, this session puts the glassware and chemicals in students’ hands as they learn about the composition of matter, how it stores and releases energy, and some of the inventive (and entertaining) ways humans reap the rewards of scientific exploration. Students will gain experience in measurement, lab safety, and chemistry techniques from the mundane to the esoteric. These sessions offer a great introduction to the physical and laboratory sciences. $50 deducted from allotment.
