About This Activity
Learn the rules and etiquette of the game. Students will have ample opportunity to play the game with various opponents. We will focus on learning strategy through some video and book instruction. We will also take time to analyze the games played and share personal strategies. Students will develop the skill of thinking several steps ahead in order to make informed choices. On April 4th, at Colony Middle School, a MSB School District chess competition for 3rd-5th graders will be held. Some students from this Twindly session (based on ability and sportsmanship) may be invited to attend to represent Twindly. $30/semester.
