In this fun, hands-on class, Chef Joel will add to participants’ baking repertoire and teach some classic baking and pastry techniques as youth participants learn to make delicious, classic French pastries. They will make and bake the following (and will get to take some home to enjoy with friends and family): Pâte à Choux with Crème Pâtissière; Sablée Breton (French butter cookies); Chocolate and Strawberry Le Mille Feuille (“Napoleon” pastries); and Tarte Tatin (delicious, caramely classic French upside-down apple tart).
