(Ages 7+). Basic levels teach the FUNdamentals of ice skating to provide the best foundation for skaters. Six progressive levels introduce forward and backward skating, stops, edges, crossovers and turns. Upon completion of the Basic 1-6 levels, skaters will be able to confidently advance to more specialized areas of skating. No prior ice skating experience needed. Helmets are required in Basic 1 and strongly recommended at all other Basic levels.
This level will begin with a 30 minute lesson then go right into 15 minutes of practice time.
