Drawing & Painting in Mixed MediaSESSION 01 PMJune 8 - June 12, 202612:30 - 3:00pmAmerica's First Artists: Symbols & StoriesYoung artist will dive into the worlds of some of America's amazing artists. We'll draw silly-spooky characters inspired by Edward Gorey, paint brave heroes and exciting scenes like N.C. Wyeth, and create funny, action-packed comics in the style of Dav Pilkey. Get ready to tell all kinds of stories with your art! Along the way, campers will experiment with cool materials like ink, acrylic paint, and even etching to bring their ideas to life.
Every week is different at Wayne Art Center's Summer Art Camp and class projects will change weekly to correspond with this year's camp theme -- ART 250: Visions of America.
This class is one week, runs Monday-Friday, and lasts 2.5 hours with a snack break outside, weather permitting. Please remember a water bottle, small snack, and wear play clothes, since art can be messy.
To create a full-day camp experience, register for a different morning class and Lunch Bunch, our supervised lunch break in the Children's Garden.
Medical, Emergency and Release Forms: All forms are to be completed through ePACT, a secure online emergency network. Once you complete registration, you will receive an email from ePACT that contains a link to create an account; click on the ePACT link and follow the instructions to complete all medical and emergency forms, which are required to attend camp.
