Face to Face: Art of the Portrait
In this class, students will learn how to simplify the human form to create loose gesture drawings from life (clothed model) and move on to a longer, more thorough study. The last two days will focus on the portrait exclusively. Students will learn how to see and understand the forms of the face for greater confidence in their drawing.
This class is one week, runs Monday-Friday, and lasts 1.5 hours.
Every week is different at Wayne Art Center's Summer Art Camp and class projects will change weekly to correspond with this year's camp theme -- Artists in the Making.
Medical, Emergency and Release Forms: All forms are to be completed through ePACT, a secure online emergency network. Once you complete registration, you will receive an email from ePACT that contains a link to create an account; click on the ePACT link and follow the instructions to complete all medical and emergency forms, which are required to attend camp.
