Crafting America's Story: Visual Storytelling
Welcome to the jewelry studio where you will learn to cut, shape, solder and polish metal into unique and personal jewelry. Campers use jewelry saws, hammers, files and more to shape metal, learn to safely solder pieces together using the torch, and how to use patinas to color and bring out the details in their creations. Beginners and more experienced students welcome.
Safety glasses will be provided.
This class is four days, runs Monday-Thursday, and lasts 2.5 hours.
Every week is different at Wayne Art Center's Summer Art Camp and class projects will change weekly to correspond with this year's camp theme -- ART 250: Visions of America.
To create a full-day camp experience, register for a different morning class and Lunch Bunch, our supervised lunch break in the Children's Garden.
Medical, Emergency and Release Forms: All forms are to be completed through ePACT, a secure online emergency network. Once you complete registration, you will receive an email from ePACT that contains a link to create an account; click on the ePACT link and follow the instructions to complete all medical and emergency forms, which are required to attend camp.
