Pop Culture & Everyday Images
Published paper doll artist, Eileen (Rudy) Rudisill Miller will introduce the art of paper doll crafting. What is a paper doll? When were they popular? What was the first published paper doll?
Miller will provide a variety of paper dolls to cut, color, design, and play with. Paper dolls inspire us to use our imaginations and our creativity by using simple materials to make play fun!
This class is one week, runs Monday-Friday, and lasts 2.5 hours with a snack break. Please remember a water bottle and a snack, if desired.
Every week is different at Wayne Art Center's Summer Art Camp and class projects will change weekly to correspond with this year's camp theme -- ART 250: Visions of America.
To create a full-day camp experience, register for a different morning class and Lunch Bunch, our supervised lunch break in the Children's Garden.
Medical, Emergency and Release Forms: All forms are to be completed through ePACT, a secure online emergency network. Once you complete registration, you will receive an email from ePACT that contains a link to create an account; click on the ePACT link and follow the instructions to complete all medical and emergency forms, which are required to attend camp.
