9:30am - 12:00pmCrafting America's Story: Visual Storytelling
Learn to draw funny faces and silly scenes incorporating the tips and tricks of cartooning, including the use of exaggeration to make characters come to life and tell a story. Campers work from well-known cartoons, reference pictures, and their own imaginations!
Every week is different at Wayne Art Center's Summer Art Camp and class projects will change weekly to correspond with this year's camp theme -- ART 250: Visions of America.
This class is four days, runs Monday-Thursday, and lasts 2.5 hours with a snack break outside, weather permitting. Please remember a water bottle, small snack, and wear play clothes, since art can be messy.
To create a full-day camp experience, register for a different afternoon class and Lunch Bunch, our supervised lunch break in the Children's Garden.
Medical, Emergency and Release Forms: All forms are to be completed through ePACT, a secure online emergency network. Once you complete registration, you will receive an email from ePACT that contains a link to create an account; click on the ePACT link and follow the instructions to complete all medical and emergency forms, which are required to attend camp.
