About This Activity
The competitive volleyball league is for 4th - 12th grade girls from all communities. In this 6 week competitive league, we accept only team registrations, with a minimum of 7 players per team. The competitive league is designed for experienced volleyball players (not beginners). You must have volleyball experience to play in this league. Teams need to have both a head coach and assistant coach in place. Players will register individually online and will be prompted to list their coach's name. Competitive coaches should email their team rosters to; communityeducation@weatherfordisd.com and we will assign players to their respective teams. Registration includes game shirts for all players. Awards will be given based on league standings at the conclusion of the season for 1st and 2nd place in each division. DO NOT register your player unless your player has a confirmed spot on a competitive team. Individuals without a competitive team will need to be added to the waitlist. To be added to the waitlist email players name, grade as of Fall 2024, school campus, guardian name and guardian phone number to communityeducation@weatherfordisd.com. Waitlist cutoff date is May 8th. The competitive league will have (1) one-hour practice per week (day/time determined by the coach), and will play 1-2 games on Saturdays. Practices will begin the week of June 10th, 2024. Games will start on June 15th and could start as early as 8am. Practice could be held any weekday. Refunds will not be given if the practice day/time does not work with players schedule. Players will not be moved to a different team to accommodate schedules. HEAD COACHES WILL NEED TO CALL OR EMAIL COMMUNITY ED FOR A ONE TIME USE REGISTRATION COUPON CODE. Location of games are subject to change based on gym availability for the district.
