Audition Schedule Tuesday, September 30th, 5:45-7:15 pm Friday, October 3, 4:00-5:30 pm Auditions will be held at the Webster Groves Ice Arena, located at 33 E. Glendale Rd, Webster Groves MO 63119. If time allows, there will be a 5-minute warmup, but this is not guaranteed. Please be at the rink no later than 30 minutes before your scheduled time. Audition Requirements Skaters must have PASSED ISI FS5 and/or USFS Juvenile Free Skate OR be 13 years of age or older and have PASSED ISI FS4 and/or USFS Pre-Juvenile Free Skate. Please fill out audition form completely and turn in by Monday, September 16. Skaters submitting a form after September 16th will be granted an audition only if spots are still available. Audition Fee A $30 non-refundable audition fee must accompany your audition application; this fee covers the cost of the audition ice. Show registration forms and fees for principals will be due following principal announcements. Audition Process Skaters will audition individually at their scheduled times. Each skater must perform a prepared program (1-3 minutes). Auditions are closed to spectators. Only the judging panel will be allowed in the rink during auditions. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early. If you miss your audition slot, we cannot guarantee an alternate time. Judging Process Principals are selected based on several factors, including (but not limited to) skating strength and ability, presentation, age, level, experience, and attitude during past participation/auditions. Judges are looking for skaters who show strong “stage presence” and theatrics, so smile and express yourself! Preference may be given to older skaters and skaters who have demonstrated dedication to Nutcracker on Ice. Skaters are typically not given the same roles they had in previous years, unless the judges see fit to do so. Having a principal part in past performances does not guarantee receiving one this year.
