About This Activity
A Year Long Class, paid per semester. From the Anglo-Saxons to the Renaissance, from chivalrous knights to Genghis Khan, students will improve their knowledge of medieval times while learning to write with structure and style. Our focus in class this year will be on the literature discussions, public speaking, and Fix It Grammar, while most KWO and writing will be done at home. We will be using advanced lessons for students more familiar with IEW. This is a complete language arts curriculum, except for spelling, I suggest Sequential Spelling 1-6 for that. That being said, there will be weekly writing, grammar, and reading homework. To purchase for class: 1) Medieval History-Based Writing Lessons Student Book https://iew.com/medieval-history-based-writing-lessons-student-book-only 2) Fix It Grammar: The Nose Tree Student Book 1, 3rd edition OR Fix It Grammar: Robin Hood Student Book 2, 3rd edition OR Fix It Grammar: Frog Prince, or Just Deserts Students Book 3, 3rd edition If you’ve never used this grammar, please start on the first book, otherwise get whichever level your student is on. Please get the teacher book for whichever grammar book you purchase for your student.
