About This Activity
Students will explore US History and Geography through literature from living books from the booklists at the Beautiful Feet books and Sonlight curriculums. Students will memorize States and Capitals with songs. Students will learn state facts with homework worksheets and through playing games such as unboxing, Bingo and Jeopardy. Students will receive a workbook to work on at home to prepare for class. This will be a 2 year long course and students will learn a new US state each week. At the end of this year, students will know about 28 states. Next year we will learn the remaining States.
