This session we’ll be dabbling in each style of Performing Arts; from Singing, Dancing to Acting. We will explore what it means to step out of our comfort zones and utilize our God-given talents to perform unto the Lord. Performing for an audience is great, it has a rush, a thrill factor and certainly has its place in displaying the performer’s hard work and dedication. The camaraderie gained and the enjoyment of it all as you hone in on your performing skills and build your craft is a unique experience. But what happens if you never get a leading role or any good opportunity to display/show case your gifting/talent publicly. Will you be ok just being, knowing that the Lord see’s you and has gifted your talent for His glory. How can we rest in this and find the fullness of our security in Him and not in our accolades? How can we use our gifts to glorify the Lord? How do we use our talents to worship the Lord? What does this all mean? We’ll focus on understanding how we can use our God given talents to glorify the Lord and not man.
