About This Activity
In this beginner-level tap class, dancers will learn basic techniques and steps that focus on timing, musicality, and rhythm, all set to Broadway-style music! Tap dancing is often a part of Stage Kids productions, so these skills will provide students with a solid tap foundation and build confidence. Prerequisite: Intro to Theater-1 and Intro to Theater-2 Instructor: Whitney Clifton CLASS ATTENDANCE POLICY (FOR SHOW PARTICIPANTS ONLY) Education is the core of Stage Kids’ programs—this is where kids develop most! Participation in a Stage Kids class is, therefore, a REQUIREMENT for being in a show. In order for show participants to fulfill this class requirement, no more than TWO (2) classes can be missed throughout the duration of the class. If more than two classes are missed, your child’s eligibility for future shows may be impacted.
