Join us this fall for Disney's Lion King JR. Bring the African savanna to life on stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale. Celebrate the Circle of Life in this timeless story of courage, friendship, and destiny. The Lion King JR. features classic songs from the Broadway musical and animated feature film, including “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” “He Lives in You,” and “Hakuna Matata.” Auditions: August 21, 2025 Callbacks: August 22, 2025 Read-Through: August 26 Rehearsals: September 2 - November 8 Rehearsal Schedule: Monday (5:30-8:30pm) & Saturday (9:30am-2:30pm) OR Tuesday (5:30-8:30pm) & Saturday (9:30am-2:30pm) Tech/Dress Rehearsals: November 9-11, 2025 Shows: November 12-16, 2025 *No conflicts permitted during tech/show week. Performance location: Numerica Performing Arts Center We can't do this without you! 20 parent volunteer hours are required in an area of your choice (costumes, props, set building, hair/makeup, typing program, concessions, etc.) Families with siblings are asked to support the show with 30 volunteer hours (20 hours for one child, an additional 10 hours for families with multiple children).
