Our Intro to Theater-1 class provides a supportive, creative environment in which each student can discover and develop their unique strengths and talents. We put them all together in a fun, creative, and expressive way which builds confidence too. The Intro to Theater program introduces students to theater terminology, parts of the stage, roles in the theater, and incorporates three performance elements: dance, acting, and singing. This is our entry-level class for new students. NOTE: Students MAY participate in a Spotlight Production WHILE ENROLLED in Intro to Theater-1. T-shirt included for new students. Instructor: Morgan Bertram CLASS/WORKSHOP ATTENDANCE POLICY Education is the core of Stage Kids’ programs—this is where kids develop most! Class participation is, therefore, a REQUIREMENT for show participation. ITT-1 and ITT-2 must be completed before students can take electives. Students may participate in a show while taking a core class. Core Classes (ITT-1 & ITT-2): No more than TWO (2) classes can be missed per session to fulfill the requirement and qualify for future electives. More than 2 absences means the class must be retaken. SHOW PARTICIPANTS: Classes: No more than TWO (2) classes can be missed per session. More than 2 absences may affect eligibility for future shows. Workshops: Attendance on BOTH workshop days is required. Missing either or both days may affect eligibility for future shows. Thank you for helping us make the most of every learning opportunity!
