About This Activity
Showstoppers participants will learn the music and choreography for one song and the finale to perform in 4 of the Spotlight Productions of The Lion King JR. Performers in this group will be participating in the full Lion King JR production at the Numerica Performing Arts Center. Parent Volunteer Hours Required: At least one parent of each participant is required to help at one dress rehearsal/show (equivalent of 4 hours). *10 Weeks Total: 7 weeks of class: Wednesdays, September 10 - October 22, 4:00-5:00pm 2 week of costume run-through: Monday or Tuesday, October 27/28 & November 3/4, 5:30-8:30pm TECH WEEK: Must be available November 11 & 12, 4:00-8:00pm PERFORMANCES: (This class will perform in 4 shows.) Must be available: Wednesday, November 13 @ 6:30PM; Thursday, November 14 @ 10:30AM & 6:30PM; Friday, November 15 @ 10:30AM & 6:30PM; Saturday, November 16 @ 2:00PM & 6:30 PM; Sunday, November 17 @ 2:00PM *All participants will receive a Spotlight Production t-shirt."
