About This Activity
Disney’s Aladdin JR. is based on the 1992 Academy Award®-winning film and the 2014 hit Broadway show about the “diamond in the rough” street rat who learns that his true worth lies deep within. Aladdin and his three friends, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes. Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character. Auditions: March 12 & 13, 2025 Callbacks: March 15, 2025 Rehearsals: March 19 - May 24, 2025 No Rehearsal April 7-11 Rehearsal Schedule: Monday (5:30-8:30pm) & Saturday (9:00am-3:00pm) OR Tuesday (5:30-8:30pm) & Saturday (9:00am-3:00pm) Tech/Dress Rehearsals: May 25-27, 2025 Shows: May 28 - June 1, 2025 Performance location: Numerica Performing Arts Center We can't do this without you! 20 parent volunteer hours are required in an area of your choice (costumes, props, set building, hair/makeup, typing program, concessions, etc.) Families with siblings are asked to support the show with 30 volunteer hours (20 hours for one child, an additional 10 hours for families with multiple children). PLEASE NOTE: Participants registering for Aladdin JR will not be able to register for Junie B. Jones JR. Please do not register for both.
