Get ready to leap, lunge, and laugh your way through Sherwood Forest! In this action-packed workshop, students will learn the basics of safe and theatrical stage combat—perfect for our hilarious take on the legend of Robin Hood. From sword fights to silly scuffles, kids will explore timing, teamwork, and how to make battles look bold (but stay safe!). Whether you're a merry man, a villainous sheriff, or a sword-wielding squirrel, this class brings the fun and the flair to every fight scene. Participants in this class will perform in The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood and will need to commit to four additional rehearsals, tech and dress rehearsals, and all six shows. Tuition includes a show t-shirt and costuming fee. Prerequisite: Intro to Theater-1 and Intro to Theater-2 Instructor: Ken Sinko CLASS ATTENDANCE POLICY (FOR SHOW PARTICIPANTS ONLY) Education is the core of Stage Kids’ programs—this is where kids develop most! Participation in a Stage Kids class is, therefore, a REQUIREMENT for being in a show. In order for show participants to fulfill this class requirement, no more than TWO (2) classes can be missed throughout the duration of the class. If more than two classes are missed, your child’s eligibility for future shows may be impacted.
