About This Activity
For young actors ready to take their craft to the next level, this class focuses on performing powerful monologues and dynamic duets. Students will dive deeper into character development, emotional connection, and storytelling through both solo and partner scenes. With a focus on text analysis, stage presence, and honest performance, actors will sharpen their skills and grow their confidence in a supportive, creative environment. Prerequisite: Intro to Theater-1 and Intro to Theater-2 Instructor: Nadine Blanchard CLASS ATTENDANCE POLICY (FOR SHOW PARTICIPANTS ONLY) Education is the core of Stage Kids’ programs—this is where kids develop most! Participation in a Stage Kids class is, therefore, a REQUIREMENT for being in a show. In order for show participants to fulfill this class requirement, no more than TWO (2) classes can be missed throughout the duration of the class. If more than two classes are missed, your child’s eligibility for future shows may be impacted.
