About This Activity
NOTE: There will be two sections of this class on Thursdays. One section will meet 4:00-5:00PM and the other will meet 5:15-6:15PM. Students in this class will only attend one class section per week. Please only register for this group if your child is available to rehearse Thursdays between 4:00 and 6:15PM. In an effort to assign students to the same cast as a sibling, the class time for your child will be decided by March 21, after casting for the show is complete. Class participants will learn the music and choreography for one song and the finale to perform in 3 of the Spotlight Productions of Aladdin JR. Performers in this group will be participating in the full Aladdin JR production at the Numerica Performing Arts Center. Parent Volunteer Hours Required: At least one parent of each participant is required to help at one dress rehearsal/show (equivalent of 4 hours). *7 Weeks Total: 5 weeks of class: Thursdays, April 17 - May 20, 4:00-5:00pm & 5:15-6:15pm 1 week of costume run-through: Monday or Tuesday, May 19 and 20, 5:30-8:30pm TECH WEEK: Must be available May 25-27, 4:00-8:00pm PERFORMANCES: (This class will perform in 3 shows.) Must be available: Wednesday, May 28 @ 6:30PM; Thursday, May 29 @ 10:30AM & 6:30PM; Friday, May 30 @ 10:30AM & 6:30PM; Saturday, May 31 @ 2:30PM & 6:30 PM; Sunday, June 1 @ 2:30PM. *All participants will receive a Spotlight Productions t-shirt.
