About This Activity
In this high-energy class, kids will explore the fundamentals of singing for the stage—together! Through fun vocal warm-ups, musical games, and ensemble songs from favorite musicals, students will learn how to sing with confidence, blend their voices, and perform as a team. Along the way, they'll build pitch, rhythm, and breathing techniques that are perfect for young actors preparing for musicals or group performances. Prerequisite: Intro to Theater-1 and Intro to Theater-2 Instructor: Mariann Boyce CLASS ATTENDANCE POLICY (FOR SHOW PARTICIPANTS ONLY) Education is the core of Stage Kids’ programs—this is where kids develop most! Participation in a Stage Kids class is, therefore, a REQUIREMENT for being in a show. In order for show participants to fulfill this class requirement, no more than TWO (2) classes can be missed throughout the duration of the class. If more than two classes are missed, your child’s eligibility for future shows may be impacted.
