About This Activity
Spotlight Stitchers is a fun and hands-on workshop where young performers learn the basics of sewing—from threading a needle to stitching by hand and using a machine. Whether they dream of designing costumes or just want to learn a cool new skill, kids will build confidence, creativity, and crafty know-how. No experience needed—just imagination and a willingness to try something new! Prerequisite: Intro to Theater-1 and Intro to Theater-2 Instructor: Joyce Callsvik CLASS ATTENDANCE POLICY (FOR SHOW PARTICIPANTS ONLY) Education is the core of Stage Kids’ programs—this is where kids develop most! Participation in a Stage Kids class is, therefore, a REQUIREMENT for being in a show. In order for show participants to fulfill this class requirement, no more than TWO (2) classes can be missed throughout the duration of the class. If more than two classes are missed, your child’s eligibility for future shows may be impacted.
