About This Activity
This summer, take the leap from playing games to creating your very own! This program offers an exciting opportunity for students to transform your passion into hands-on creativity, designing and programming your very own video game. Whether you're just starting out or already have some experience, our skilled instructors will guide you with step by step instructions. Camp Highlights: -explore game design with storytelling, character creation, and gameplay mechanics -create characters, challenges, and interactive game elements with Arcade -rebuild a classic game before designing unique, custom game worlds -experiment with animation and motion graphics to bring games to life -customize environments and craft exciting, immersive gameplay Each day balances screen time with engaging, unplugged activities, including outdoor breaks to refresh creativity. By the end of the week, you will have a fully playable game to share with family and friends—along with the skills and confidence to continue exploring game development! This program is a half-day.
