About This Activity
Delve into a different culture each day and learn about arts of the world. Students will focus on using different techniques and materials to correctly portray traditional arts and crafts from many lands. They both observe and discuss existing art from a variety of cultures, as well as create their own pieces. -Japan: Origami art and fan painting -China: Lantern making and paper cutting -Canada: Ted Harrison artist spotlight -Mexico: Day of the Dead masks -Australia: Mandala/Animal Dot painting
