About This Activity
Are you ready to take your robotics skills to the next level? This hands-on summer camp is designed for students with prior robotics experience who want to deepen their understanding of engineering, coding, and problem-solving. Using the VEX IQ platform, campers will build, program, and control their own robots to tackle a series of exciting challenges. Campers will: -program and control VEX IQ robots using motors, sensors, and joysticks -design and build stable, functional robot frames with gears and moving parts -solve progressively complex engineering challenges through hands-on problem-solving -work in teams to enhance collaboration, leadership, and critical thinking skills -gain experience with robotics competitions to prepare for future STEM opportunities In addition to time spent designing and coding, you will enjoy daily outdoor activities to stay active and refreshed. By the end of the program, you will have strengthened your STEM knowledge and gained valuable experience for future robotics challenges in high school and beyond. This is a half-day program.
