About This Activity
Embark on an exciting opportunity to dive deeper into the world of robotics and technology! This program is designed for campers with some prior experience in robotics who are ready to take on new challenges. Starting with virtual robots, campers will progress to coding and programming VEX-IQ robots, tackling progressively complex tasks that develop critical STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) skills. They’ll begin by constructing stable and functional robot frames, then incorporate gears, motors, joystick controls, and sensors to bring their creations to life. Through these hands-on projects, campers will enhance their problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership skills. Additionally, campers will explore the basics of electronics, learning about batteries, electricity flow, and how electrical circuits power our world. With a mix of exciting robotics challenges and outdoor activities, this camp will inspire innovation and creativity each day. This is a half-day program.
