About This Activity
Unlock your child’s inner inventor this summer in an action-packed afternoon of discovery led by an award-winning LEGO Robotics teacher and coach! This camp bridges the gap between play and engineering by introducing the BC ADST curriculum through high-tech toys and hands-on building. Your junior maker will move from directing Code-a-pillars and Dash robots to creating their very own stop-motion movies starring their favourite characters. As they graduate from LEGO DUPLO mechanics to the advanced LEGO Education SPIKE Essential kits, they will develop the "computational thinking" needed to motorize a giant collaborative LEGO City. It’s a week of storytelling, problem-solving, and creative construction where every "oops" is a chance to innovate! This is a half-day program.
