Program is designed to provide inclusive programming for participants aged 9-11yrs old, who shy away from sports. Program will include group and peer discussion forums on Health and Wellness, Safety, Nature and Outdoors, along with other topics of education and more. Participants will engage in activities that will enhance their social skills, encourage communication (verbal and written), motivate them to participate, and promote positive self-image. All materials for this program will be provided, but participants are encouraged to come with an open mind and a will to cooperate.
There will be special events at Lazelle Woods where this group will volunteer. Participants will also partake in field trips, welcome guest speakers and enjoy craft projects. Participants will also assist with planning group field trips and group games.
