About This Activity
Description
A program developed to assist teens with social development and inclusion skills. Teens will be actively involved with In-Kind Service at Lazelle Community Center and Outreach within the community. Peer communication sessions will empower them to effectively and comfortably communicate and build upon critical thinking. Teens will explore life skills that includes, healthy cooking, meal preparation and eating with a Professional Chef, health, hygiene and physical wellness. Guest speakers will include Military Veterans, CPD, Artists, Deejay and so much more! Participants will receive help with achieving academic assistance as needed. Field trips and special events are bi-monthly. All supplies and equipment will be provided by instructor.
