It's the best of both worlds, nature mixed with pottery! Our young potters will learn hand building skills including slab and coil construction. They will use these skills to complete projects all centering around themes of nature. Potters will go on nature walks to find things to inspire their work or incorporate into their piece. This age group will explore 2D and 3D methods through their projects. No experience needed, bring clothes that can get messy and an apron if desired.
Our group will take a break from 12p - 12:45p for lunch each day. Children can come with a packed lunch or receive a meal from our summer Go Lunch program.
Projects are expected to be completed by the last day, but due to kiln firing schedules, some project may need picked up after their last day.
Summer Clay Clinics are instructed by Xenia Shuman
