About This Activity
Description
From monsters to wild beasts, let your Imagination run wild through your clay creations! This clinic is for young teens looking to take the next step in their artistic creative journey. Students will learn hand building skills including slab, coil and pinch pot construction. They will use these skills to complete projects all centering around themes of the wild. Potters will base their projects on monsters, mystical beasts, wild animals and more. This age group will explore 2D and 3D methods through their projects. No experience needed, bring clothes that can get messy and an apron if desired.
Our group will take a break from 12p - 12:45p for lunch each day. Children can come with a packed lunch or receive a meal from our summer Go Lunch program.
Projects are expected to be completed by the last day, but due to kiln firing schedules, some project may need picked up after their last day.
