About This Activity
Refresh Through Expressive Arts is an expressive arts group where we explore and expand our creativity to improve and support our mental wellness. Each session focuses on a theme, and we will use various art materials to discover our unique forms of expression and gain personal insights. We create alongside each other and make meaningful connections to ourselves in the present moment. Together in this space, we will use the creative process to give us energy, relaxation, inspiration and active form to curiosity, wonder and imagination. We encourage and support each other and hold space for our experiences, stories and creative journeys. This group meets weekly, alternating between online and in-person sessions. You’re welcome to attend all 12 sessions by registering for both formats, or you can choose just the online or just the in-person option, attending 6 sessions on a bi-weekly schedule. February 9- In-person 2. February 18- Online 3. February 23- In-person 4. March 4- Online 5. March 9- In-person 6. March 18- Online 7. March 23- In-person 8. March 30 - In-person 9. April 1- Online 11. April 13 - In-person 12. April 15 - Online 13. April 29 - Online Art Materials: For in-person sessions, a variety of art materials will be provided, and you are welcome to use the materials of your choice for each session. For online, you can use any materials you may already have. We will send a list of suggested materials for those who would like ideas, but you are encouraged to use the materials of your choice for each session.
