About This Activity
Description
This class will focus on developing all levels of skills in acrylic painting. * Basics: Students learn the fundamentals of acrylic Painting, including how to prepare the canvas, use different types of paintbrushes, and blend colors* Composition: Students learn how to use paint to describe three-dimensional forms and explore composition methods.* Color Theory: Students will learn about color theory.Advanced Techniques: Students learn more advanced techniques such as layering, glazing and using a palette knife.* Experimental techniques: Students learn more experimental approaches such as adding their own elements and changing color schemes.* Drying time: How to extend the drying time of acrylic paint to make it more manageable.* Color mixing: new ideas and artistry on mixing colors.* Varnishing: Learn how to varnish a painting to give it a glossy look.
