About This Activity
Students will enjoy making art with a variety of materials including air dry clay, oil-based clay, mosaic, fiber arts, woodworking, assemblage, using wood burning tools, embroidery, paper mache, junk art, whittling, and collage. Students will also enjoy participating in drawing and painting projects using the patented Monart Drawing Method. Some projects will be holiday or seasonally themed while others are inspired by the Animal Kingdom and natural world. WINTER SESSION: SCULPTURE & DRAWING, PETS THEME Projects include using the ChompSaws for cutting out cardboard pets, painting a goldfish in a bowl with watercolor, making cute pets crafts, an acrylic painting on canvas and more! *Students will be escorted to Kid’s Club by WCS staff and picked up upon arrival by Monart instructor. *NOTE: Art Park classes are grouped into three sessions, each with separate fees. #101W (Winter Session- Dec. 1, 8, 15; Jan. 5, 12, 19, 26; Feb. 2, 9, 16, 23- 11 weeks) $310
