About This Activity
Class Meets Thurs. 4:10-5:10 in the Art Room, Ages: 1-5th gr. SECOND SESSION: OPTICAL ILLUSIONS MAKE AN ORNAMENT FOR A GIFT! In this exciting “Op Art” class students will learn how to create work that can trick the eye by combining or layering different lines, patterns and shapes. Projects include radial paper designs, parabolic lines, a waving flag with bald eagle, a bulging heart, a 3D snowflake, an optical illusion ornament and more! Perfect for any child that enjoys art, math or making things with their hands. Lots of ruler practice involved too! Dates: Nov. 6, 13, 20; Dec. 4, 11, 18; Jan. 8, 15. Tuition is $95 for 8 wks.
